Jennifer, I can see why you'd perceive it that way, but the fact is, someone who doesn't know who LLB is is likely someone who has never visited AAR before. Her identity is hardly some cliquish inside joke. There is a difference (a big one) between being a newcomer and being a troll. IMO, a lot of the unfamiliar names that have posted in the past several days are the latter; they've come here solely because they've heard of this controversy on another site, and they want to stir up trouble. As for "author bashing" it's all in the eye of the beholder. From where I stand, the vast majority of romance sites are devoted to author ass-kissing. That doesn't interest me. I care about books, not authors. So messages boards where virtually every post is "author x, you are just the bestest person, ever, and your latest book is surely the cure for cancer!!!!!" bore me.

People who don't like the way things are done at AAR SHOULDN'T COME HERE. That's JMO, obviously. But I do get tired of people who come here and try to bully everyone and turn AAR into a clone of all of those fansites.
