I have a number of comments to make. To answer your first question - yes, we did meet at a conference I covered for this site in Ft Worth back in the late 1990's. Secondly, AAR, as it says on our home page, is the back-fence for lovers of romance novels. More than being the back fence, it is also my cyber "home" and to have you come to my home and accuse me of lying is rather upsetting.
Our readership is substantial; I hardly believe readers, let alone authors and others in the publishing business would trust this site for news, commentary, reviews, interviews, etc. if we were not considered a trustworthy enterprise. We've been here since 1996 and I have no doubt that if required, I could provide you with many, many testimonials about the legitimacy of this site and the information contained herein.
I have not questioned your integrity; why must you question mine?
If you would care to take this discussion off-line, that might be best. I'm sure many of our readers are becoming uncomfortable at this point.
