While I'm not privvy to the information you are, and simply stated that I viewed Robin's stance as contradictory to her actions, I applaud your clarification of the issue.

Many people who know Robin have come to her defence, but the vast majority of us don't know her at all (beyond seeing her name on the spine of a book). And as such, it's difficult to put some of these issues in perspective. Your posting has provided much food for thought, not the least because of the grace and patience you've used in expressing yourself.

I may still hold the view that Robin did more harm than good through the article, but I'm sure your voice of reason will have a positive effect on the end result.
