I'm sure Lori might be running for the dictionary. So I'll just save her some time ": uttering or given to censure : containing or characterized by verbal abuse" from Merriam-Webster.

I'm always wary of anyone who decides to take the moral high ground. It smacks of over-estimating one's own opinion/self-worth and displays a distinct lack of compassion for all parties concerned -- condescension for those who have been "wronged" and lack of respect for others' opinions.
