The "addiction" theme really P***** me off too. does this mean that those who read Patricia Cornwell are addicted to gore? or Sue Grafton's readers are addicted to violence? or Tom Clancy"s to paranoia? Okay, maybe the Clancy readers ARE paranoid, but that doesn't mean they are bad. I read Romances because they are written by women about women.And women have sex. To indicate otherwise is to be dishonest. And dishonesty is just bad writing.
