Do You Want Your Book Reviewed?

If you are an author and would like to have a current, new, or upcoming release reviewed by AAR, please send your galleys, ARCs, or finished books to our managing editor at: All About Romance
Blythe Barnhill
4532 S. Jebel Way
Centennial, CO 80015

If you are an author and would like to have a current, new, or upcoming e-book release reviewed by AAR, please send an email along with a brief description of your book and the code to obtain a free download to: blytheaar@gmail.com

We cannot review every book sent to us. If we can review it, however, we will do our best to do so in a timely manner, so the earlier you can send it, the better.

We have just begun to accept e-books for review, but only in a limited fashion. As such, do not send a copy of your e-book via email. Instead, include in your email request (to Blythe Barnhill) for review a brief summary of the book and the code or other information necessary for a free download. If and only if the book is reviewed, the free download will be utilized.

At this time we do not accept for review print-on-demand books (such as those published by IUniverse) or books published simultaneously in e-book and paperback format unless released by an established print publisher. It is also quite rare for us to review books published by small publishers because so many of our readers prefer us to focus our review assets on books published by the major publishing houses.

AAR is on the distribution list for many publishing houses, but it'll be up to you to work with your publishers to assure copies of your books are sent to us for review. We do not receive series titles (nor Arabesque titles) from Harlequin/Silhouette although we do receive MIRA and Red Dress Ink books. Nor do we receive many Kensington releases. In all instances we'd love to have the chance to review those books, so if you are an author, contact us about sending your book and/or work with your publisher.

Many publishers do not believe their ARC money is well spent on online publications and so choose to only send ARCs to traditional print publications. We believe this is a mistake and try to convince them otherwise - sometimes we are successful while at other times we are not.

Authors and publishers interested in sending AAR a book to review, please email Blythe so she'll be on the lookout for it. If the book will not be reviewed, it can be returned only if you include a self-addressed, stamped mailer for it.

We realize there's a huge demand for reviews from dependable, reputable venues, and we appreciate your enthusiasm, but - at this time - sending an email to either Blythe or LLB if your book is a POD book or is published by a small publisher will likely result in nothing. In the past we've personally responded to each such email, but now they arrive several times a day and will simply be deleted without response.
