Favorite Books by Favorite Authors Ballot

Since 2000 we have polled readers in order to create bouquets of a dozen ranked books by authors who generate interest among you. The results of these polls are presented in our Favorite Books by Favorite Authors feature, a help for readers looking for the best of an author's books to try. Based on your ballots, our pollsters continue to re-poll and to create new bouquets for additional authors. The authors included in this perpetual project may have published 100 books or only five - you may have read all of their backlist, or simply a portion of it.

Because the authors on each ballot represent a variety of genres/sub-genres, we know you may not submit ranked lists for every author on a given ballot. But even if you are only familiar with one of the authors on a ballot, we hope you will participate. You may include up to 12 titles (ebooks, print books, short stories) for each author on a ballot. However, your list must be ranked, so that your favorite title by an author is first on your list, your second favorite title by that author is second, and so on. You do not need to list 12 titles for each author; just vote for your favorite titles, in order.

We upload results for each round of polling as soon as possible, and because we have three pollsters, the turnaround is rapid.

This particular feature is incredibly useful to readers looking to try a new-to-them author. We ask that you participate for as many authors as you feel comfortable. All the authors we are polling for have published at least five books, but your list of favorites can include one title...or twelve. You must include your name and email address for your ballot to be accepted, although we will never use either. If valid information is not given, your form will not be accepted and, upon submission, you will be redirected to our "Oops" page.

You will automatically be forwarded to a "thank you" page once you correctly submit your ballot.

Remember to submit your ballot by midnight, August 23rd and to rank your favorites book/story titles, numbering your favorite #1 or 1., your second favorite #2 or 2., and so on.
