| Has anybody else been following this organization in the news? It's a web-based third party, which proposes to get a candidate on the ballots in all states. It's an intriguing idea, which if it works, at least appears to offer voters a way to express themselves about issues, etc. |

We definitely need campaign reform! If our elected officials won't do it and why should they, then it's up to us to do it. We can start with scaling back the cost of elections. Every candidate for the same office should be given X number of dollars to spend. Then they would have to focus on their message. When one candidate has more money, people think that candidate is more deserving for some reason. That's not always the case. It means that candidate can be bought by special interests who knows he/she will vote their way.
Many good people stay away from politics because it can be dirty and brutal. Some people go into politics wanting to make things better for everyone and there are others who go into politics for their own gain. Being a public servant should mean something. |

| I urge everyone to at least go to the website www.americanselect.com and read about the movement. It may not be the answer, but it's a first step at least. |
