I know that's not true, but folklore is great.
Thanks for sharing the photo, Linda. It's great. |
I saw that picture before somewhere (probably facebook) it is adorable. Looks a lot like my Addie too.
I love the folklore as well. I have an album called "It's A Cow Christmas" I bought a LONG time ago. It's parody stuff, mostly silly, like "Angus We Have Heard on High" and "We Wish You A Dairy Christmas". But one song I really love - it's a version of "We Three Kings" called "We Three Cows". I find it strangly and inexplicably profound.
We three cows of Bethlehem are
Still awaiting kings from afar
But we wonder where the thunder
All of these wisemen are
Oh Star of wonder, Star we sing
We await the ones you bring
but to mangers we're no strangers
First came cows and then came kings
Who was first to kneel in the hay
Who was first to worship and pray
Who was first to see the birth
To celebrate Christmas day |

Ranger giving Lucy a bath last night, he takes his tongue and does these long slurps all over her, it's gross but she loves it! lol
He's working on her ears...

| They both look so relaxed and peaceful together. It was good to get Lucy for the entire family. |

Ah, so sweet. Ranger is enjoying being a caregiver it seems. Very sweet.
I wish I could post some pictures of my pups. I haven't been able to get it to work for quite a while. I don't know what I am doing wrong. _________________ "As you wish"

Tug of war between Ranger and Lucy! Ranger could easily win of course but he tries to hold on loosly so she won't give up.

We lucked out! Ranger is such a sweetheart with her, though sometimes they get each other so hyper by playing that furniture has gone flying, lol

Yes, Ranger seems to be the Gentle Giant...and...he's young enough to still like to play! It's so nice when dogs like one another. Our sheltie would be lost without the Beagle. The Beagle would miss the Sheltie, but I don't think the love is as strong that way. Our Sheltie is quite the little worrier when Beagle is outside without him or at the vet. Lots of pacing. _________________ "As you wish"

That's the greatest picture, Linda. First time I'm visiting the site today. Some monster virus got a hold of me this morning and I've been in bed all day. Feeling a bit better now, though, if I could only get rid of the headache. Thanks for sending that one along. If that one doesn't make a person laugh, then he's hopeless! |
