In Loretta Chase's Miss Wonderful, the heroine's first love is a painter named William Poynton. Has Chase written a book for Poyton? I find myself really curious about what happened to him after the heroine sent him away, all those years before she met her hero.
Thanks! _________________ "To be in a romance is to be in uncongenial surroundings. To be born into this earth is to be born into uncongenial surroundings, hence to be born into a romance." (G.K. Chesterton) |

| I don't recall any such characters in Ms. Chase's earlier books. Have you gone to her website or sent her an e-mail? I'd be interested in the answer myself. Perhaps she can be persuaded to write his story if she hasn't already. |
