She was a very good budgie. She was territorial about her cage, loved eating from my plate, explored everything without any fear, and made a big connection with my male budgie. I miss her terribly. _________________ Reality has a well-known liberal bias.

We do love our pets -- furred, feathered, scaled. Having recently been through my cat's illness, I understand how these creatures find their way into your heart. My sympathies on your loss.

My condolences over the loss of your budgie. We have a cockatiel (Piper) who keeps me company during the day along with our Shih-Tzu (Pixel). Love both our pets and will miss them both terribly when they're gone. Pixel is 8 so he should have a few more years. Piper is six years old so we should have many years with him. They are a joy to have even when they're annoying. Piper is starting to mimick the jack-hammer tearing up the tile in our house and Pixel isn't happy he can't roam through out the house while we're remodeling. Other than that, they're just wonderful pets.

Sorry to hear about your loss. i lost my beloved English Bulldog 3 and half years ago and I still get upset about it. Our pets are part of our family and when you lose them it is devastating. cheri

Sorry for your loss Kass. I really understand how the loss of a pet can be so very sad. We lost our sweet sheltie last year and although we got another pup soon after, who is a delight in every way, I still miss him. Pets give us so much, don't they?
