I was feeling sorry for myself as my 50th birthday approached and decided to be proactive about it instead. The result was SOPHRONIA AND THE VAMPIRE; a story of a witch, entering the third stage of life, the crone, and her unlikely romance with a vampire, who’s initially more interested in harnessing her powers for his benefit, than becoming involved with a pesky human. If you like your heroes and heroines to have a sense of humour and a few more miles on the clock than the average couple, then give SOPHRONIA AND THE VAMPIRE a go.
