| Any recent good books that feature a fish out of water Northerner heroine in the deep South paired with a small town guy character. I'm a big fan of the Zoe and Wade relationship on the show. |

I like that show, too.
I think that Susan Elizabeth Philips' work is similar in tone and theme. Not sure how many of her heroines are Northeastern fish out of water types, but a lot of the books are set in small towns.
Also, Rachel Gibson's "Trouble with Valentine's Day" is similar in theme. |
