What audio book are you listening to now?

I'm listening to The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie by Jennifer Ashley read by Angela Dawe. I am enjoyed the reader very much!

Okay, audio lover that I am - I just can't resist joining in.

I just finished Kristan Higgins' Catch of the Day (review up at today's Speaking of Audiobooks http://www.likesbooks.com/blog/?cat=174) and loved it. Xe Sands does a great job with the narration.

I'm listening to Charlotte Featherstone's Pride and Passion right now and the narrator is quite good although I'm not too crazy about spy clubs and secret artifacts and therefore the story is lagging for me.

But tomorrow is my next big listen. Jeaniene Frost's Once Burned will be released and I'll start immediately.

BTW, I loved The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie in print and even more in audio!

I can see where TMOLIM is better on audio, I'm only in Chapter 3 and Angela Dawe is doing a FANTASTIC job reading the book, I will absolutely explore other books she's read!!! BTW I won this a few months ago and finally started it!

I went to download Once Burned on Audible.com and it's not available!!!

I am also wanting to get Dream Man by Linda Howard, read by Phil Gigante, have you listened to that one yet???

I've been watching for Once Burned today at Audible (I was determined to start today) and found that unavailability too! I'll keep watching.

Yea! You were one of the winners of TMOLIM! Good, good stuff. The 3 other Ashley books in this series are being released any day now.

I really enjoyed Dream Man in audio. I had read it at least 5 times in print before listening. One thing that happened when I listened rather than read? Dane sounded a little like the controlling jerk I imagine he was all those times I read in print but I always looked over it. Smile

Regardless, I enjoyed DM - a definite Howard fix for me and I don't mind that Gigante can't perform a female's voice without it sounding kinda silly. His male characterizations are so worth it that I don't even pay attention to it.

I agree Phil Gigante can read an instruction manual and I would listen! I have Monica McCarty's Highlander Untamed read by Antony Ferguson on my wish list and hope that he has the same quality!!!

I am finishing up Once Burned by Jeanine Frost and LOVING the reader.

I ended up purchasing Lucky in Love by Jill Shalvis with my next book credit. Love the preview, I love Shalvis, let's see what happens!
