| I don't know...AAR's sensuality ratings are fine for me (though just a tad out of date, author/imprint-wise): http://www.likesbooks.com/kissburn.html |

Can you suggest particular authors you're interested in? It's a very large genre. _________________ "I say, don't read the classics -- try to discover your own classics; every life has its own." -- Rudolf Flesch, _How to Make Sense_ |

Well, this site does! Also, Karen Knows Best (www.karenknowsbest.com) recently started using a sensuality rating, though only for the last several reviews.
Lisa Kleypas I would call hot, Julia Quinn warm, haven't read enough McCarthy to say. _________________ "I say, don't read the classics -- try to discover your own classics; every life has its own." -- Rudolf Flesch, _How to Make Sense_ |

The sensuality ratings on this site should give you a pretty good sense of what different authors writing is like.
I would agree with the previous poster that Lisa Kleypas is hot and Julia Quinn is warm. If you like these authors some others to try are:
Mary Balogh: Warm (The Bedwyn Series is a good place to start, especially Slightly Dangerous although this is actually the last book in the series and you may want to read the others first)
Loretta Chase: Warm to Hot
Julie Garwoods: Hot, although these were written awhile ago and are not as hot as some more recent authors (I don't like her suspense novels but her historicals are great)
Elizabeth Hoyt: Hot, If you like Kleypas you'll probably like her
Eloisa James: Hot, not as good as Kleypas but decent
Stephanie Laurens: Hot |
