A few cookbooks

Most of those are research for my PhD and a paper I'm working on. In the past, I also bought a lot of non-fiction books on art, design, films, antiques and collectibles, though I buy less books on those subjects these days, because the excellent bookshop which had coffee table books and the like at reduced prices closed and the books are less accessible for me.

Oddly enough, I have never bought political non-fiction books and almost never biographies, i.e. the kind of non-fiction that sells best aside from self-help, diet and cookbooks.

A People's History of The United States by Howard Zinn. Great book so far. Very interesting.

I'm nearly finished with "Rush Limbaugh-An Army of One" and it is really very good.

I have on my TBR stack "The Manchurian President" and expect to come in today's mail "The Grand Jihad".

Also I have Carol Burnett's newest biography in my TBR stack.
