Nora Roberts Giveaway (Contest Closed)

Nora

No books, today, but we’ve got two cool Nora items up for grabs by  one lucky reader:  A cool messenger bag signed by Nora and (this is my personal fave) a baseball cap worn by Eve Dallas herself.  Okay, so Eve isn’t real, but if she were, this would be her cap.

To enter for your chance to win, all you need to do simply comment to this post by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, June 3rd.  Anyone with a mailing address in the U.S. or Canada is eligible to enter and win. (Sorry, international readers, but we’re picking up the postage for this one and international mail is expensive.  Seriously.) The winner will be notified by email on June 4th and the name posted here on the 5th.

And stay tuned in the weeks ahead. Big doings coming up ’round these here parts – including giveaways to die for.

Harlequin’s More than Words + Giveaway!

Monday, March 15th, 2010

more than words If, like me, you read a fair amount of Harlequin novels or you’ve ended up on the company’s mailing list, you’ve probably seen flyers in recent years touting Harlequin’s More than Words program and the annual anthology that goes with it. From the ad copy, I understood that Harlequin was putting out anthologies celebrating charitable work by women in their communities, but didn’t know much more than that. When I had a chance to chat about it via email with a publicist, I found out more and was very impressed by the work supported.

arthur Laurens

Though we draw readers from around the world, this site is based in the United States and today is Election Day here in a number of states. So – we have a special little giveaway for you with not one, but two, prizes on the ballot.

First up, we have a copy of Keri Arthur’s latest release, Bound to Shadows, to give away. This is the eighth novel in the Riley Jenson series, which several of our reviewers have enjoyed in the past. If you haven’t read this series, you’re missing some good books!

And your other choice? We have 2 copies of The Untamed Bride by Stephanie Laurens for giveaway. Laurens has created her own world for her characters through the Cynster novels and the somewhat related Bastion Club. Now, with The Untamed Bride, she begins a new series called The Black Cobra Quartet. Though set in the same world as her previous books, these books can be read independently.

To enter, simply comment below and let us know which book you’re entering to win – or whether you’re entering for both. The Untamed Bride can be shipped to US, Canada and UK addresses only. However, Bound to Shadows can be shipped worldwide. This giveaway is open from now until 7:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, November 5, 2009, at which time I’ll turn things over to random.org to get our winners. Many thanks to Keri Arthur and Stephanie Laurens for donating these prizes!
