Annual Reader Poll: Interim Results

The AAR Annual Reader poll is well underway, with voting closing at midnight on February 17th.

With two weeks left to go, we know that many of you are still waiting to cast your ballot.  We hope the interim results presented here will be helpful.

We’d ask you to keep a few things in mind as you look through the results. First, we’ve listed the results in each category in alphabetical order by author. In no way does this reflect the actual vote order for the books, authors, or characters.

Second, our goal was to list the top five authors, books, or characters in each category. In cases in which there are ties, we have listed more. In two categories there simply haven’t been enough votes yet to report any results at this time.

Last, don’t be disappointed if your favorites aren’t among the leaders. Voting is very tight in virtually every category and, at this point, there are no sure winners. In fact, in some cases, if a book, character, or author not listed on the interim results were to get just two more votes, it might actually be the winner for its category.

Ready for the interim results?  (And don’t forget to vote!)
