Liz Carlyle Five ARC Giveaway (Contest Closed)

onetouchofscandalHave you been waiting for Liz Carlyle’s new book due to be released on September 28th? Five lucky readers won’t have to wait much longer since we have Advance Reading Copies to give away this week courtesy of our friends at Avon Books.

The beginning of a new trilogy (and her first for her new publisher), here’s the book blurb for One Touch of Scandal:

Desperation drove her into the arms of a devil…

Grace Gauthier had taken a position as governess hoping to find security and peace in a life that had very little of either. She’s always yearned for a good marriage, a family, and a home, but it was not to be.  And when the brutal murder of her employer leaves her unprotected and alone—as Scotland Yard’s prime suspect—she has no one to turn to except the mysterious and reclusive Lord Ruthveyn.

A dark-eyed Lucifer, Ruthveyn guards his secrets carefully. His shadowed past as the Queen’s most trusted agent in India is the stuff of whispered rumor, as is his mixed ancestry.  Deeply moved by her plight—and haunted by her beauty—Ruthveyn is determined to save Grace by unmasking a killer. But his growing passion for her soon places his own heart at risk and threatens to expose his dark gifts—and his dark society—to the world .

To enter for your chance to win, all you need to do is comment to this post by 11:59 pm on Thursday, August 26th.  The usual caveats apply:  This contest is open only to U.S. and Canadian readers and, since our goal is to get early copies into the hands of readers who wouldn’t otherwise have access, please don’t enter if you review for another Web site or blog.  Good luck!

  1. I love, love, love Liz Carlyle. I hope readers from Puerto Rico are not excluded, since we are part of the United States.

  2. I don’t think I’ve read any of her books yet, but this sounds like a good starting place. Thanks for the chance to win :)

  3. Intriguing, but there is one stumbling block. How is Ruthveyn pronounced? It will drive me up the wall the whole time I am reading if I can’t really decide how to say the hero’s name.
    Rooth-vain?
    Rooth-venn?
Ruth like rough or rooth like tooth?
    Maddening!

  4. Carlyle’s an autobuy for me, so I’ll definitely be getting a copy of this, one way or another.

  5. A freebie would be great, but even with an ARC, I’ll probably buy a copy and share the ARC with someone I want to draft into the club!

  6. What a beautiful cover. I can`t wait to read this one. I always look forward to a new Liz Carlyle book.

  7. Wow, I really would love to read this book. If I don’t win it, it looks like another book on my to buy list!!!
