A Welcome from the New Publishers of All About Romance
As the new publishers of a ten-year online tradition, we want to thank the hundreds of thousands of readers who’ve made All About Romance an important part of their romance reading experience over the past decade.
Change is sometimes intimidating, but almost always positive. While we’re still feeling our way with regards to many of the changes we plan for AAR, one thing we do know: We want to celebrate everything that’s made AAR unique, while adapting and changing for the future. The Internet has evolved greatly since AAR first went online and we want to be certain we’re reflecting that.
Each of us has been with AAR for at least five years and been involved in every aspect of the creative content of the site, from reviews and interviews to columns and think pieces. We’re also joined by a staff of incredibly talented and enthusiastic women who are committed to working for the future at AAR. Several staff members have stepped up to the plate by taking on new responsibilities and positions, while others have recommitted to the site. We’re grateful for each and every one of them.
So, what will the change in management mean to readers? Some features will be discontinued and others published less frequently. You’ll notice an increased focus on reviews, as well as author interviews, polling (including the upcoming Annual Reader’s Poll), as well as new interactive features that are still in development. You may also notice a lighter hand in message board moderation than has been used in the past.
In the meantime, we’d like to ask a favor of our readers: If you have any ideas or suggestions for the site and what you’d like to see, please take a moment and share them with us.
All About Romance has been an integral part of the romance community for ten years now. We can’t wait to see where the next decade takes us.
