I did lose my voice about seven years ago. It was very strange. I felt as if I was getting a cold or sinus infection the night before and woke up with no voice. It lasted for a few days. It is funny that I usually sound horrible but by the time I am talking in a whisper I don't really feel bad. However I do get a lot of sympathy.
