My mother didn't do much of it and only started to do it after I was out of the house. So you are definitely one up on me! It sounds simple to do, and I love jam. And I know there are lots of different varieties of plums but they all get called plums by me. This year I bought a hybrid of nectarine and plum - but I don't remember what they were called.
