My aunt found out about 7 years ago that she had celiac's disease, so she can't have gluten. Her daughter has a severe allergy to nuts. To top all that, their family is vegan. No gluten for my aunt, no nuts for my cousin, and no animal products for the lot of them.
Surprisingly, they are some of the best cooks in the family. I'm not sure where they find recipes, but they serve things like cauliflower with a bit of oil and montreal steak seasonings. cook it in the oven and it's DELICIOUS! Regular pasta with broccoli in a garlic sauce. Zucchini patties (not sure what goes into these). Turns out pretty much anything tastes good as long as you add the right spices.

Jean, I have seen lots of things about gluten free cooking, but have never really tried it. I have been curious about some of the alternative flours. Just wasn't sure what they would taste like.

Lori L - I can't imagine it's easy, being fortunately free from all food allergies. (Pollen - that's a different story.) Good luck in finding the right fit.
