Yeah, the prices may not always be the cheapest, but I get the miles and it leaves early evening and arrives noonish the next day. A nonstop flight is so worth the money (well, within reason) compared to a cheaper price while having to take two or more flights and worrying about making your connections. My sister and I wanted to get away for a few days at Christmastime. We did everything everyone says to do; started looking early, checked different websites, and checked frequently. The hotels were easy peasey! The flights...that that was a horse of a different color. Because one of our travelers was a 7 year old I wanted some accommodation for his attention span. We were looking for a max one stop from Phila to Las Vegas. ALL the "economy" flights either had more stops than I was willing to do OR the layover would have caused us to spend 10-12 hours on air travel. From Phila to Vegas!! Really?! We ended up not going anywhere as neither of us was willing to put up with the hassles of the "economy" flights. Oh well, better luck next year. 'Cause I am determined to get in on a flight that is the right price, the right number of stops, the days I want to travel and the times I would like to travel by the end of the year. or am I just dreaming!
